Master Bathroom Remodel for Sue & Bob Klein of Naperville, IL
January 3, 2014
We began a complete tear out only leaving the bathtub and the drywall. We also have removed the pine doors from the internal bathroom walkin closets and the main bathroom pine door for future installation of oak doors with new oak casing, baseboard, and crown molding. This is the progres of day 1 after the tear out and clean up.
Today we installed all the rough electrical for the new design and bathroom layout including the warm wire to heat the future tiled floor and we also installed the pro-level over the warm wire at the end of the day before we left to make sure the floor was 100% level and all the warm wire was embedded 100% within the pro-level.
We roughed in the plumbing for the shower, durock-ed shower walls and bath tub area and began the main floor tile installation.
We continued the tile installation on the main floor and grouted and poured the shower base floor for future tile that will be installed on the shower floor.
Day 5, 6 & 7
We continued to tile and grout the tub area and the shower. We installed custom cabinetry provided by Stonebridge designs and installed granite on the cabinets along with the center tower on top of the granite countertop. We drilled the holed for the vessel sinks and single faucet installations along with installing the vessels and the faucets.
